9 reference guides are compiled by librarians, covering Harvard, APA, IEEE, Chicago, Vancouver, SBS, SIAM, ACM and MLA styles. These guides provide detailed instructions and examples on citing different types of sources. They can be downloaded at XJTLU Reference Guides (

The Library also provides bibliographic management tools to users. Users may install EndNote stand-alone version in their own PCs or laptops with the help of MITS Office. EndNote Basic (web version) and RefWorks are also available online. By using these bibliographic management tools, users may manage their research materials and create reference lists effectively.

In addition, instruction sessions of EndNote and RefWorks are provided regularly by the Library. The instruction sessions offers detailed usage of the tools and hands-on practices.
