Group study rooms can be booked on Library Homepage. Click ‘Room Booking’ in ‘Quick Links’ directly click the link below. Meanwhile, you can use the group study room reservation machine on Level 1 in the Library. 

Follow the steps below:

  • Click 'Login' and enter your XJTLU student account and password
  • Select 'Group Study Room' and =view the details and images of the rooms
  • Use the 'Calendar' to select the date and time for your booking. The page will automatically refresh with the relevant information shown
  • Read the group study room booking policy displayed, and click on 'Agree' to continue
  • Enter your group members’ names; select the specific time, and then submit
  • Click 'Confirm' to complete the booking

 

Tips for room booking:

  • The rooms are open for booking by students and staff for discussion. Each person can only book a room once a day. Booking is limited to a maximum of 3 hours for students and 6 hours for staff.
  • A successful booking needs all team members’ ID card information so that any one of them can swipe his/her ID card to open the door.
  • Room 314, 316, 318, 545, 547, 714 and 814 require at least 2 members to swipe their ID card to get into the room. Room 429 requires at least 6 members to swipe their ID card to get into the room. Room 445 requires at least 4 members to  swipe their ID card to get into the room.
  • The applicants should go to the booked group study room within 30 minutes after the booking start time, or else it would be deemed to a default behaviour.
  • Any change or cancellation should be done before the booking start time, or else it would be deemed to a default behaviour.
  • The applicants shall be responsible for their default behaviours. The booking system will suspend an applicant’s permission of room booking for 30 days if he/she has had up to 3 times of such default behaviours.
