When you have found a book you want to borrow (items can be searched in the Library Catalogue):

  • Go to Library Service Counter on 3F to check out the book with your ID card, or
  • Use the self-service machines on 1F, 4F or 8F to check out the book with your ID card

If you need help using the self-service machines, staff at the Library Service Counter will be more than happy to show you what to do.

Please NOTE:

  • Check the items for any damages when you borrow them from the Library. Make a statement to the staff if you find any book defaced or damaged, asking for affix library’s seal before you check it out. Otherwise the last borrower will be fined for the damage.
  • You are responsible for knowing when your books are due for return. You can check your borrowing record through My Library Record in Library Catalogue (OPAC). As you are responsible for all books issued on your account, you should not lend your books to other people.
  • If all copies of the book you want are out on loan, you can reserve a copy through Library Catalogue (OPAC).
