Yes. The Library offers various help in referencing.

Reference guides are compiled by librarians, covering Harvard, APA, IEEE, Chicago, Vancouver, SBS, SIAM, ACM and MLA styles. These guides provide detailed instructions and examples on citing different types of sources. They can be downloaded at XJTLU Referencing library guide.

The Library also provides bibliographic management tools to users. Users may install EndNote stand-alone version in their own PCs or laptops with the help of MITS Office. EndNote Online (basic web version) and RefWorks are also available online. By using these bibliographic management tools, users may manage their research materials and create reference lists effectively.

In addition, workshops of EndNote and RefWorks are provided regularly during the semesters by the Library. The workshops offer detailed usage guidance for the tools and hands-on practice opportunities. To attend these workshops, you may pay attention to the updates on the Library’s Event Calendar at LibCal.

If you need further assistance with referencing, you may book a research appointment with us.
