Cite While You Write is designed for specific versions of Microsoft Word, Windows OpenOffice Writer, Windows LibreOffice, and Apple Pages. It is a feature of EndNote which inserts EndNote commands into the word processor to give you direct access to your references while writing your essays. The Cite While You Write commands enable EndNote to do bibliographic formatting to the document that is currently open in the compatible word processor.
