Ei stands for Engineering Index, an index of scientific literature in the engineering field. Ei was originally compiled by hand, and now it is computerised and becomes Ei Compendex, a bibliographic database. In China, Ei is regarded as one of the three leading indexes, and the other two are SCI (Science Citation Index) and ISTP (now CPCI-S, Conference Proceedings Citation Index - Science).
Ei Compendex is available online through the Library’s Engineering Village platform. Find Ei Compendex in Database A-Z.
