Some databases don’t offer DOI retrieval. You can turn to other databases (e.g., Web of Science, Wanfang) which provide the DOI search field for help.
You can also change the searching fields and search for author, title, etc. (Detailed information about the article can be found on crossref.org. or chinadoi.cn by using DOI).
