Any use of the electronic resources available in library subscribed databases should be used under the terms and conditions specified in the license agreements signed with publishers or information providers.

You may follow the basics below when you use the materials on ICE:

  • use individual articles from a journal issue or individual chapters from an e-book for readings;
  • always include copyright notices and remind students that library’s electronic resources are copyrighted works that should not be copied and redistributed to others;
  • generally restrict the ICE module access to those students enrolled;
  • block access to materials after the course has ended;
  • when possible, it is preferable to use Reading List tool to create readings for module rather than place links to electronic materials or make digital copies (download PDF from databases and then upload to ICE).
