Since most of the Library e-resources need user authentication, they can only be used within XJTLU’s IP addresses using XJTLU network. As a result, if your device is connected to the campus network, you can directly access all Library e-resources.

However, if you are off-campus, you will have to follow certain steps to access Library e-resources. There are 3 different access methods from off-campus, varying with the databases. Please visit our Off-Campus Access guide to get the steps to access.


If you encounter a problem of accessing the databases off-campus, You can do the following things:

a) You can try to switch to another backup access method by yourself if the current one is out of work, which works for most of the databases. After login with your  XJTLU account and clicking the database title 3 times repeatedly, you can see the following prompt page, and then click "Switch to Another Line".

You can get access to the database after redirections.
