            Check the following table for the status of an item  and its meaning in the Library Catalogue System (OPAC):

			The item is available for patrons to borrow.
			
				- If it is located on the shelf in the library, please click "Locate This Book” to get the location of the book.
- If it is located in the Restricted Area, please use Inter-Branch Delivery to apply  for the book.
 
		 
		
			
			on loan
			 
			
			The item has been borrowed by someone else.
			 
		 
		
			
			processing
			 
			
			The item is being or to be catalogued. Fill out the Priority Cataloging Request Form at the Library Circulation Desk on the 3rd floor (SIP Campus) or on the 1st floor (Taicang campus) in the library to initiate the priority cataloging service.
			 
		 
		
			
			view only
			 
			
			The item can only be used in the library. It cannot be checked out.
